FENS Graduation Project Exhibition 2025
On Friday, June 20, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) organized its first Graduation Project Exhibition, bringing together students, faculty members, and industry representatives for a day dedicated to showcasing final-year projects.
A total of 32 projects were presented by students from five engineering programs: Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Genetics and Bioengineering. The event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and innovative ideas to both academic staff and professionals from industry.
The Best Poster Award was given to the project “Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) Implementation for Campus Networks”, developed by Edin Klapić and Haris Islamović from the Software Engineering program, under the mentorship of Dr. Amal Mersni and Mr. Muris Čeljo from Kodeks. The award was determined by a jury of industry representatives, based on a shortlist of nominated projects selected by faculty members.
The exhibition marked a significant step in strengthening cooperation between academia and industry, and served as the beginning of a new tradition aimed at promoting student achievements and encouraging collaboration on real-world engineering challenges.
